Most pets will either nap on the couch or relax in their crate while their owners are away. However, some pets either suffer from terrible separation anxiety or simply didn’t get enough playtime before their owners left, which is why they decide to completely trash their human’s homes. Whether your cat is an angel when you leave for work or your dog enjoys ripping the couch to shreds when you are gone, you’ll laugh yourselves silly at the following pets who totally trashed their owner’s living spaces.
20. Dog 1, Wallpaper, 0
This dog looks so smug and proud of himself for destroying the wallpaper in a fit of separation anxiety. He was probably frantic when his owners left, and started indiscriminately shredding the first thing he could find. “This wallpaper is taunting me, and I’m freaking out over whether or not my owners will return. Take that, wallpaper! I have destroyed you once and for all!”
19. This Husky Knows Their Owner Is Furious
The look on that Siberian Husky’s face says it all—they know their owners have returned and are horrified at the destruction that greeted them. “Okay Ma, Pop, I can totally explain. You see, a giant squid attacked the living room and I bravely fought it off, which is why there’s ink everywhere.” Sorry, adorable Husky—your owners are too smart to fall for that whopper of a lie.
18. I Can Explain Everything
If that German Shepherd Dog could talk, she would probably try to convince her owner that all of the destruction wasn’t her fault. “Errr….look Mom. I can tell by your expression that you are very angry because our home is trashed. But I can assure that there is a very good reason for all of this! You see, there was an evil robber who tried to steal the television, and I fought him off. Don’t I deserve a cookie for my bravery?”
